The MEQY Sailing Team delivered an impressive performance at the prestigious Bol d’Or 2026, held on 5–7 June, securing a top finish in one of the world’s largest freshwater sailing competitions.
The renowned regatta spans 123 kilometers across Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), taking competitors from Geneva to Le Bouveret and back. This year, nearly 400 boats representing multiple countries participated, creating a spectacular showcase of international sailing talent and teamwork.
Outstanding Performance in Demanding Conditions
The 2026 edition presented challenging conditions due to exceptionally light winds throughout the race. Competitors were required to demonstrate patience, technical expertise, and strategic decision-making to navigate the course successfully.
Led by an experienced skipper and supported by a dedicated crew of MEQY team members, the racing yacht completed the demanding course with determination and professionalism. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the team achieved a strong finish, highlighting their commitment, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
